With more than 1,200 members, our mission is to inspire and enable young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Letter from the President January 2012
Happy New Year! As we transition into a new year I wanted to write and share with you how honored I am to serve as the new President & Chief Professional Officer of the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club. I will continue to update this section of our website and share information with you about our Clubs and our collective futures. As an alum, I understand how important a safe and nurturing home away from home can be for a child. Our goal every day is to provide a caring alternative for our members that values them as individuals and encourages them to explore their personal interests. Simply, we are a place for children to laugh, learn, explore and grow into caring members of society.
Over the next few months we will rededicate ourselves as an organization to do more and be more for our members. As a parent myself, trust is an essential when considering an organization charged with helping our children build solid foundations for life. Our Board of Directors and staff take that responsibility very seriously. Trust is what guides and focuses our actions.
We care deeply for our members and are proud to have them grow in our Clubs. We will continue to be a pillar in the communities we serve and remain a place where great futures start.

SIGN UP TODAY FOR THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
This program begins August 10, coinciding with the beginning of the school year. It continues through May and concludes with the end of the school year. We are open Monday-Friday, with program hours from 2:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. during the regular school year. Cost is $8 membership fee. After School Pick-up is available at a cost of $45 per month. Any previous account balances must be paid in full.
