"Classic Moments In Black History": The final competition round between Huffman High and Parker High teams begins at 10 a.m. on Tues. Feb. 28th at Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Co-sponsored by the Institute and Regions Financial Corporation, the winning school team receives $2,000.

Membership: A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club

It’s easy to become a member of the A. G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club. Simply come by the Club and pick up a Membership Form, or download it here, fill it out and bring it with you to one of our Clubs.

The annual membership fee is $8. For more information about enrollment, contact the Club nearest you.

Activity Programs
There are four activity programs offered at the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club.

After School Program – This program begins in August, coinciding with the beginning of the school year. It continues through May and concludes with the end of the school year. We are open Monday-Friday, with program hours from 2:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. during the regular school year.

After-school pick-up – For an additional fee during the school year, your child may be picked up at school and brought to the Club to take part in the After-School Program.

1st child: $ 45/month
2nd child: $ 40/month


Spring Break – We offer extended hours and Club activities during the week of Spring Break. Additional fees may apply.
Summer Camp Program – This 8-week program begins June 6 and concludes July 29, 2011. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis until all openings are filled. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
